I use this meter to verify other meter readings. Test strips are cheapest and yes it is compact. But accuracy is most important criteria for me.

I have the red one that i carry in my purse so it's easy to find. i like being able to just pop the meter onto a bottle of test strips and be on my way. I have almost thrown away the meter when i was done with a bottle of test strips though. so other than that it is a great meter.

Just attach to your vial of strips and off you go. So easy... Highly recommend it to anyone that travels or works!
