My mother had it when it first came out and we thought it was great until more functional and sleek talking meters came out for people with diabetes that couldn't see. The prodigy autocode is the meter my mother uses now a days!

My compact plus meter even though its larger in size from my last meter has exactly what I want in meter. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who travels a lot and is always on the go.

For the price the meter does its job, but I want more functions with mine. This meter doesn't deliver what I want (accuracy, shape, strip release and no coding). I'm looking forward to my next meter.

I do like the fact that you don't have to handle strips but the fact that there are so many moving parts inside has caused me to go through them faster than any other meter I've ever used. I highly recommend this meter for anyone that has a child with diabetes. Makes life a bit easier.
