The MyGlucoHealth glucose meter has Bluetooth technology integrated in the meter to wirelessly upload test results to the web for better diabetes management care.

I have had this unit now close to 1 yr. and it is so sleek and handy for keeping track of my blood sugar. I'm a type 2 diabetic so far and to have the data available for my doctor to down load the information is a time saver for us all. I would recommend anyone looking for a small functional unit to get this one. All the other unit have costs that will be higher or lower than this but for a compact and good data retrieval unit it fits me fine.

 

Works but not sure about accuracy...

althought i like this meter and the functionality of transmitting the data, i don't really know much about this brand... i think it has potential but needs to be on the market longer so the manufacturers can gain more market share and learn.

Pros very cool meter, awesome functionality
Cons not sure about the data transmitting, also don't like having to pay for the web service... why would i want to incur an additional cost to use a meter i've never heard of.

this meter is a long way from the testtape, yellow strip of the 1960s--it is without a doubt the best meter available. i have tried a lot of them in 43 years. the customer service and attention to detail has been great. the online order of strips is simple.

Pros the 3 second results is great. small blood supply needed. downloading is simple and acsess to results is very useful. the ast is invaluable. the strip ejector is great. one minute to acsesthe sample.
Cons the meter is quite shiny and smooth. my fingers are not very nimble. i would like to see more of a grip finish for an ease of handling. i use electrical friction tape on the sides and it works great...

I couldn't be without MyGlucoHealth Glucose meter with its multiple benefits to my diabetes management and resultant improvedment in my overall health!!

Pros I've had the good fortune of using a MyGlucoHealth Glucose Meter for 2.5 years now and the numerous personal benefits as a blind diabetic have been as follows:
-My Hemoglobin A1C has gone from 10.0 to 7-8, due to ease of testing.
-The small sample size enables me to receive a result each time I poke. After 50 years of Type I diabetes, my finger tips are very scarred, thus, a small sample size has been eficacious.
-My internist prints out my last month of results each time I visit with no previously required tedious data keeping on my part.
-My internist can review my blood glucose levels at any time when I consult him by phone.
-The audible beep allows me to know when the sample has been drawn; when not enough blood has been drawn with a double beep; and when the battery is low with a double beep.
-These are the first automaticly coded strips I have used, which eliminate another dependency for me.
-The reminder beeps have been set for meal times and are helpful during my busy days.
-The USB port makes it easy to upload my results.
-As a blind user, I can access my last result if it has exceeded the amount designated for an alert, when I upload my results on a computer with speech synthesized software.
-I have the ability to have my low blood sugars alert a family member on their telephone.
-Test strips have a tactile surface, which indicates which end to insert.
-Strips are conveniently mailed to my home via accessing the indicator on the MyGlucoHealth website.
-I've only replaced the battery twice in 2.5 years of Q.I.D. usage.
-The Bluetooth feature will allow blood glucose results to be audible on many mobile phones with MyGlucoHealth applications.
-Customer service has been absolutely outstanding!!
Cons There are no cons in my opinion.
