The meters NEW features were developed with the help of National Blind Associations and Certified Diabetes Educators. No coding is required at all. Simply insert the test strip and the meter turns on automatically. You get safe accurate test results every time. The prodigy voice Talking meter has audible features. The prodigy voice will "talk" the user through all the set-ups, step-by-step, including audible test results, audible meter status, audible averages and memory records (450 results) with date and time. Alternate Site Testing is also available on the palm, the forearm, the upper arm, the calf, or the thigh.

Very good device for blind people and for those who can't use a regular one. I don't know what my family would of done without it!

having a meter that is capable of talking to my wife who is blind and diabetic is very helpful. she is able to now test on her own and get her results voiced to her.
