The meter is called the Didget and is the first blood glucose monitoring system that connects directly to a Nintendo DS or DS Lite gaming system to help kids manage their diabetes by rewarding them for consistent testing habits with points to unlock new game levels and options. The Didget meter is no coding meter, will display results in 5 seconds, and requires a small blood sample size of 0.6µL. The Didget meter will also hold up to 450 previous test results, and is capable of having results downloaded onto a home computer for easy diabetes management.
