Where to Buy Glucocard Vital Glucose Meter

The Glucocard Vital meter feautures the test strip chemistry "GO", and will display accurate test results in 7 seconds.

The Glucocard Vital from Arkray has all the features that you would expect from a new blood glucose meter and perhaps new features that you haven't heard of yet. The Glucocard Vital takes only 0.5µL of blood, has a short 7 second test time, holds up to 250-test results and is auto-coded. That means you don't have to adjust a new vial of test strips to the meter, which can prevent inaccurate readings if you forget to code them. The Glucocard Vital meter uses the test strip chemistry "GO", and will allow for alternate site testing for painless and more convenient testing.

I love this meter and the company that supports it is like a family member that cares about my wellness.

User Review

Pros The meter was as accurate as my high cost brand meter. In fact the battery went dead on my brand meter which caused me to pull out the Vital Meter. I will not change meters now that I have used this product. I signed up right away for their Wellness program and have followed the program now for over 4 months. My sugar levels are now in control and I have lost a total of 5 lbs. The Customer service when I called with some questions on the wellness program, went out of their way to get my answers and to send me extra material that has helped with my diabetes.
Cons The Newsletter is not weekly

From a person who has tried over 8 different brand of meters, to the most inexpensive, to the most expensive and everything in between and after purchasing this meter I was very disappointed. The meter was free and the strips are very reasonable, but because the meter isn't very accurate, it's throwing money away. I tested just today because I felt low blood sugar, but when I tested with this meter, it showed my blood sugar as 132 but when I used my other two meters (I keep 3 around because of the accuracy problem) and the cheaper of the other two meters gave roughly about the same reading. After I used my one touch ultra mini, I discovered that my blood sugar was extremely low at 53. Don't waste your money on a cheaper machine just to save money. I, like millions of others have no health insurance so I have to pay for everything out of pocket and that means I have to find the most affordable strips and meters I can find. Problem is that when you go cheap you get what you pay for, in this case, a junk meter. It's small and easy to read and use, but it's not useful to maintain correct readings. To the company! Please learn to make a product that really does work and helps cater to those many millions of us who have no insurance and can't afford to buy medication, insulin, strips and other essentials when the machine we so rely on doesn't work properly.

User Review

Pros Small design and easy to use and understand. Speed of the machine is good for quick testing, and best of all no coding! Strips are very responsible. Comes in a few colors so at least a girl can have a cool pink meter.
Cons It has horrible accuracy. Lancet is a hot mess. It's hard to get the needle into the lancet without pricking yourself, because you still have to get the other one and put the new one in with an exposed needle. Not very helpful.

I really find it to be helpful not having to code my Vital glucose meter. My eye site isnt what it once was so the large display screen helps me test more easily without anyones help.
