This has to be the best monitor ever. I am not going to be able to use it as my insurance will not cover strips (contract expired). If it ever does again I will go back to using the Freestyle Lite. Sample size was extremely tiny. Cannot find one that is smaller

User Review

Pros It is so easy to use and needs the absolute smallest sample. Nice storage bag and light is very helpful.
Cons Once in a great while I'd get an error code and waste the strip and was not sure why it didn't function. Over the year I had it probably happened 3 times.

For people on the go, the Freestyle Lite is a top choice. The meter is fast, small and delivers quick testing results. The back light and testing strip light feature is great if you are out and about at night. This feature is also great if you have a child who needs night testing and you don't want to turn on the room light. Overall, one of the better meters on the market today.

Not a fan of this freestyle Lite meter at all. it's got a light which is great and all if you go camping a lot or something. not sure how practical it is. i would prefer to use my other glucose meter, the onetouch ultra2. much better in my opinion. hopefully this review helps others avoid this meter.

I would like to hear other user reviews about the FreeStyle Lite meter. Has anyone been affected by the test strip chemistry of this product?

User Review

Pros Small meter size, small blood sample size, quick test time
Cons test strip chemistry.... i heard something about people dying because of this meter's test strip chemistry
