The HypoGuard Assure Pro meter requires a small blood sample size of 0.5µL and will display accurate test results in 10 seconds.
The Hypoguard Assure Pro blood glucose meter from Arkray has more features, including the ProGrip design and the qcProGuard (a 24-hour optional control solution reminder to alert you to perform a control solution test), which offers more accuracy, safety and convenience. To test, simply insert the test strip in the convenient top-of-the-meter port. Apply a small sample of blood (0.5µL) and obtain plasma-referenced results in just 10 seconds. The Assure Pro features a strip release button for disposal so there is no need to touch a used strip, reducing the risk of exposure to infectious materials. The Assure Pro offers a little extra assistance with a "Hypo" warning to alert you of low blood glucose readings and four individual alarms that can be programmed as test reminders. The Assure Pro meter uses Assure Pro Blood Glucose Test Strips and Assure Pro level 1 & 2 control solutions.
